RACE BOOK – Please read
Race Around Denmark
Race Around Denmark is created for both the adventurous and the competition minded. Equal to all is that the traffic law must be obeyed and the safety regulations of the race must be followed.
Race Around Denmark emphasizes safety above all. Therefore, violations of laws and race rules can be met with sanctions, such as time penalty, or in severe cases, exclusion from the race. The race jury will in each case consider and assess the violation in accordance with the rules. It will be possible for the participants to appeal the jury’s rules. Hereafter the final decision will be taken. It may take time to gather information during the race, so don’t expect a potential sanction to be given immediately.
Therefore, to avoid unnecessary errors and hence sanctions, it is very important that all participants and helpers read the rules of the race.
It is currently the 2019 rulebook that is online. There are no significant changes in the 2020 edition. However, we are just looking through it to make sure all info is correct. Expect latest release online end of December.
