EXTREME: FOLLOW MY CHALLENGE
CHALLENGE: FOLLOW MY CHALLENGE
EXPERIENCE: FOLLOW MY CHALLENGE
Besides trying to lead the race through beautiful and challenging terrain, we have also tried to make the race quite compact. We have done this to give the riders’ followers the opportunity to follow their favourite rider on close hand.
Within relatively short driving distance, it will be possible to follow the riders on their journey through the Danish countryside. However, in this case, we must underline the consideration to the other traffic and followers aren’t assisting the riders. Only the rider’s own team is allowed to assist.
IMPORTANT: It should be noted that during the race much of the time there will be activity on the race site. The race management does not take any further steps in relation to safety. If you overnight on the site, the race management disclaims any responsibility in connection with any burglary and the like.
RACE BOOK – Please read
Race Around Denmark
Race Around Denmark is created for both the adventurous and the competition minded. Equal to all is that the traffic law must be obeyed and the safety regulations of the race must be followed.
Race Around Denmark emphasizes safety above all. Therefore, violations of laws and race rules can be met with sanctions, such as time penalty, or in severe cases, exclusion from the race. The race jury will in each case consider and assess the violation in accordance with the rules. It will be possible for the participants to appeal the jury’s rules. Hereafter the final decision will be taken. It may take time to gather information during the race, so don’t expect a potential sanction to be given immediately.
Therefore, to avoid unnecessary errors and hence sanctions, it is very important that all participants and helpers read the rules of the race.
